I just put away the last of my Halloween props. That means the 2007 Halloween chapter is closed. It is nice to have things packed but it is also very sad that Halloween 2007 is over.

I guess to get over this depresssion I need to start planning Halloween 2008. Wow I need to buy some expanding foam and get ready to redo my dragon. Oh my gawd - so much to do so little time.

Nevermind - I am over with the depression.

Yep, that's the best way to end the blues... Have a little "hair of the dog", get back on the horse, and BUILD!
I don't want to just scare them... I want to mess them up for life!

I started to take my Halloween stuff down the other day but was complaining about how I'd have to put all of my regular decorations up just to take them back down in a few weeks to put the Christmas stuff out. So my husband said, "Why don't you just leave the Halloween decorations out until then?" That was all the prompting I needed! So it will be Halloween at my house until the weekend after Thanksgiving!

    Batfly,
And we even have to include time to work (so we have a little money to spend on Halloween stuff), time to eat and even time to sleep. Life is so unfair.

I guess I am a little different then most of you. As much as I enjoy Halloween the next best day is taking it all down and getting it put away for a while. It takes me over a month to get set up and buy the time Halloween comes and goes I have had my fill for a while. I like getting my house back to "normal". Becuase of the work involved in Halloween we have decided to take next year off! Thats right, a whole year without Halloween. I have over 700 days to get ready!
