So I have finally decided that I'm going to do the set designs for a HalloweenTown theme for next year. The only trouble I'm having with so far is coming up with names for the diffren't town places. I would like to add a grocery store, movie theater, (a witchs broom place )(like a car dealership)
an Ice Cream shop, A Cemetary, A Brewery. Any more I should add? All feedback is greatly appricated and wannted. Thanks.

I toyed with the idea of doing a grocery store theme for our garage, and call it the Gross-ery.
Ice Cream can be either I Scream or Eye Scream.
The breweery should be easy - there are some real life breweries with some spooky sounding names!
The used-broom lot could parody a stereotypical name like "Honest John's Used Cars" - something like "Dishonest Hectate's Used Broom Lot"...

For the Broom Lot: Buy Here, Fly Here Used Brooms; Fly Here, Pay Here Used Brooms; Witch Way New and Used Brooms
Grocery Store: Stop N' Chop Food; Big Rots; Wail Mart; WalScreams
Movie Theater: Downtown SINema; Big Scream Theaters; Disasterpiece Theater; ICU Theaters; Sobb Theaters; BoovieCo (Muvico down here)
Ice Cream: Like Chris said, I Scream; I Scream Bones & More; Ben & Scary's; CarvAll (Carvel); Criers (Bryers); Rip N Clots (Dip n Dots); Italian Slice; Scary Queen (Dairy Queen); Marble Stab (Marble Slab); Mold Stone Screamery (Cold Stone Creamery); Haggy Boos (Maggie Moos)
Cemetery: The Marble Orchard; Hollow Turf Cemetery; Sleepy Grounds Graveyard; Headstone Field Cemetery; Dead End Graveyard; Plot Thickens Cemetery
Brewery: Pick Ur Poison Brewery; Toil N Trouble Brewery; Double Bubble Brews; Killians; Dieneken (Heineken); Sores Light (Coors); Killer Light (Miller); Pale Male Brewery (Pale Ale); Boo Moon (Blue Moon... one of my favs)

That's about all I could think of right now. I included the actual brand names if I used it as a reference since not every town has got the same stores.

    Those are really good Ted!

How about a One Stop Funeral Shop
Or fast food stores like Toxic Hell (Taco Bell), Burger Scream, Snarbies, KFR (Kentucky Fired Rats)

I had a beer once called Blackened VooDoo. Real beer from New Orleans, I think.

    And your possibilities are endless....

Thanks for the ideas and the names everyone. I will through in a couple fast food joints, the dead pet shop is neat to. I'm going to paint the back drops for the sets and then buy props through out the year to go with it. I may add plexi glass for the windows just to make it look more realistic. It's hard but really fun.

What scale is this going to be on? I mean, are you building 20ft tall wooden facades down your driveway? Can you go into the stores? Is it for a party? Will there be shelter (for weather)? I'm just curious because it sounds like a broadway scale production!

On Saturday I'm going to test some stuff out as far as framing for the scale and size. So far I just plan on paiting fun backgrounds ( picture it being like a high school play) and then adding props. I might if time is good make walk throughs of some of the places. These will be out side. My house is Brick so were going to use the actuall house as the Town Hall, so I'll just have to make a sign for that. The rest of yard will have the other set's. I'll post my pre stage plans.
