My mother is a teacher and one of her fellow educators is an AVID Halloween enthusiast. This year, however, that teacher got into a tiff with her husband and it was decided that she needs to settle down with Halloween stuff.

What's that mean? It means I came into possession of HALF of her Halloween 'stuff'.

It includes, but is not limited to:
1 full size wooden coffin with lid and white lining
2 half size wooden coffins that stand upright - inside = a bride in one and groom in the other - light up eyes, suit/dress, hands, pvc pipe bodies
    10+ masks of varying styles
5 fake pumpkins - 2 light up, 3 without cutouts
    2 fog machines
lots of extra pieces of foam cut for limbs
    fake roses
    a disco ball (real)
a colorful ball that lights up and spins (like at a dance party)
    3 remote control hands
    5+ foam or plastic skulls
2 pvc framed 'dummies' with mask/clothes
100+ little items -- fake spiders, skeletons, bugs, plastic rings, etc
    5+ electric eyes
several strands of lights - some purple icicle style, pumpkin, and skeletons
    3 pieces of dish ware
3 large metal Halloween decor with lights on the back (example: flicker lights behind a pumpkin) - black metal
several plastic wall decor (dracula picture, gargoyle)
    3 ghost ceramic candle holders
2 miniature ceramic castles (not sure what they were for)
2 still-in-box light up ground breaker figures (the hands, feet, and heads)
Lots of little gadget type of things - 2 flying bats, light up skull, and a skull that's like those glass balls with the electricity inside
    blucky wrapped in gauze (mummy)

That's all I can remember, but it's a TON of stuff!!! It took both my wife's Escape and my Sport Trac to haul it home.

Now, listen to this. It's several hundred dollars worth of stuff....

    I got it for free...

I'm glad you got a good deal but it sounds sad that her husband made her get rid of her things. I can't understand after investing all that money for them not to let the lady keep them but maybe he's just PO'd about tripping over all of the stuff and wants his garage back. My husband makes that comment all the time but knows HE would be the one to go if it ever came down to him or halloween

Score! Sounds like a lot of nice stuff-congrats!! However, if my hubby and I ever got into it over my little "hobby" some lucky person would be picking up:

-1 husband in EUC, accessories (numerous power tools, kegerator, remote control) included.

Actually, I'd probably keep the power tools.........

Well I'm glad it went to a good home. They will be well cared for and treated well. As for the wife and husband. That's pretty horrible that he can't respect her joys in life. If my husband did that to me, I would be questioning my whole relationship. I agree with 3SpookyChicks.
