So, my order from Fright Catalog came in today... *sigh*
I was quite excited when I got home and saw the boxes sitting on my carport today. Once I started tearing into them, my excitement left me rather quickly. Now, I knew from the beginning that the paint apps and such wouldn't be exactly like the pictures shown, so I was prepared for that, but when I opened the first box and started pulling out props with bent up parts that wouldn't go back into place, with pieces of hair coming unglued and off, and I realized I was missing a whole prop (Grossferatu), my heart dropped and my excitement turned instantly into frustration. I ordered a Leatherface mask that was creased so badly that it doesn't even fit right. I called Fright Catalog right away and explained what had happened and the lady I talked to was very nonchalant about the whole thing. She said they would send Grossferatu to me, that it had just been forgotten (huh?) and that I could probably fix the latex mask by heating it with a hairdryer. My very first mass ordering of Halloween props online and I'm very disappointed. Oh well, guess I learned my lesson.I guess I should start glueing and heating up pieces now...

Contact Mark, the owner. He is a member here and will make it right, as he has for many others in the past.

Your the purcheser you shoulden't have to do a single thing to fix the props you got. I would get my money back or get an exchange. I think that is really bad service. I'm sure the guy Mark would understand.

Troxin, This experience is all to familiar for me! This same type of thing happened to me! I ordered a freaky flyer, a head on a stake, a mask, and these 2 pedestals. I got my packages. both pedestals were broken in half. I wasnt very happy. Then i opened my other package and my head on a stake was deformed! Hair was coming out of it and the face was smashed in! Then i looked for my freaky flyer and it wasnt even there. I was VERY MAD! I posted on this forum and Mark replied right away! He told me to call which i did. I spoke to them and they discounted the pedestals some more for me, and sent me my freaky flyer along with a new head on a stake and they let me keep the other one. Frightcatalog is very helpful. Just contact them again.

I was just going to say the same thing. Mark is A1++ when it comes to customer service. He won't let you down.

Mark sounds like a real nice guy. For some reason, however, I get the feeling that he spends a lot of time running around fixing his employees' boo-boos. He has wonderful products, but his employees should take more care in the handling and packaging of the items. They can't help it, obviously, if the delivery company crunches the box, but there should be no excuse for the Leatherface mask and the head on the stake. Sorry, I'm a stickler for customer service. I was in retail too many years.
Mark, if you're out there, I wish I could work for you!! Lol."He has my father's eyes."
"Gomez, take those out of his mouth!"

I don't know if they are HIS employees or not. Does he own the store or just manage it????
