I was needing a Talk thru Boris for a prop I'm making and it being 11/7 I wasn't feeling I'd be to lucky finding one at a post Halloween sale. Knowing Big Lot's had them I called but they weren't open yet. I also thought Kmart had them so I stoped by our local store and lucky me they had a bunch that were under a sign that said 50% off! Great $24.99 list so $12.50 sounded good to me. However, when my total came up on the register the sales clerk said my total was a whopping $1.34! In my best Tim the tool man Taylor grunt I'm like huh? She say's that the Halloween stuff is now 90% off but I'm thinking 10% of $25 is still $2.50 but whatever I'm not one to argue this deal! Needless to say I bought all 17 they had and my total for all was $28! Now that was an awsome score if I do say so myself. Now the question is, where can I find another Kmart?

Nice deal! I was at Kmart today as well and everything is 75% off. Got two 36" foam tombstones for under 5.00 each, two foam skulls for under a buck and a couple of gortraits for $1.75 each. Headed back tomorrow for a few of the $40.00 gauze zombie costumes at $10.00 a pop!

I wish they hadn't closed all the K-mart's in Oklahoma City. There used to be one right down the street from me. Darn-it!

90% off the previously marked price, perhaps?

I loaded up at Target and it was $3. I was expecting more, as well.

I wish I could run into discounts like that! The best I came across during my post Halloween shopping this year were tombstones for $1.00 each at Big Lots.
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.

Dr. Loomis: "As a matter of fact...that was."

Yesterday I bought a Boris at K-mart for $6.25 and a full head wolf mask for $6.24. I might use it to make an animated standing wolf for next Halloween.
I went back today and picked up the animated life-size skeleton in the coffin. They had two display models left. I picked the one that looked the best and asked the manager if I could plug it in. Thing worked perfectly. Not a bad deal for $25.00. It has lights in the coffin that flash while thunder and lightning sounds play. Then the skeleton sits straight up and turns his head to the left and starts talking. The mouth moves and the eyes flash while he talks. Then he lays back down in the coffin. I will lose his cheesy hat/clothes and creep him up a bit before he goes in the yard next year.
