Hello Fellow Spookster’s,
I’ve been cruising through different categories forums here and unless my feeble brain and failing eyesight (caused by breathing to much sulfur while stumbling about the dark pits of hell) are wrong I can find no forum dedicated to the rating of haunted attractions. Why? Surely wouldn’t you agree that it would be of service to your fellow Halloween aficionados to inform them on what are the best or worst haunted attractions that you can attend in your area?
As for myself the Great Pumpkin has blessed me with one of the top 13 haunted attractions in the country, as listed by http://www.hauntworld.com/, in my area, Spookywoods, www.spookywoods.com. As good as this attraction is I must honestly say it’s in need of some serious work if it’s going to remain in the top 13. The head Witch and I hope to travel to Atlanta next October to attend the number 1 attraction Netherworld Haunted House, www.Fearworld.com, to have some comparison to go by and to enjoy what looks to be a fantastic haunted attraction.
I’m sure there must be other great haunted attractions both big and small that you can recommend or say don’t waste you’re hard in cash. It can also be a place where the operators of haunts such as those listed in the top 13 can get an honest hard critic from those who do Halloween best, you my fellow forum members.
So what do you think, am I senile and blind, or might this be an excellent forum topic that could be added?

I haven't been to it for seven years so it might have changed, but I would vote for Hallowscream at Wyandot Lake's Fright Fest in Columbus, Ohio. This haunt is (was?) extremely elaborate, high tech, and long. I believe they spent over one million dollars on the special effects in 2000.

I like the idea, I even have pictures from a couple haunts I went to this year.
