I've been meaning to do a graveyard scene for a couple of years, and here's the result. The other tenants in my apartment building loved the pvc/furring strip "wrought iron" fence and the extruded insulation columns--everybody thought they were the real thing the first time they saw them. My landlord loved the thing as well (he provided me a place to store the stuff at no cost to me!)

Didn't see many trick-or treaters, but I didn't tell many people at my place of employment what I was doing--I didn't know how it would turn out--so I lost a lot of potential visitors. Oh, well...

For night lighting I used "stick-up" light bulbs scattered among the tombstones and I used little disc-shaped "click-lights" placed face-up on the tops of the columns to light "the boys" (the red gargoyles). They worked great. (Sorry, no nighttime pics yet)

Overall it was pretty effective for a simple cemetery scene. It's a start, anyway. Next year I'm planning something a bit more elaborate...

Nice job, cf. How cool to decorate an apartment yard and to have the support of the other residents. Maybe next year they'll want in on the act and you'll have some recruits!
    Looks really great!

Thanks, jdubbya and child! Yep, I was hoping the other tenants would be tolerant of my little cemetery, but I didn't expect so many good comments and thank-yous. It was really heartwarming!

Child--I really like the legs sticking out from underneath the house. Nice haunt!

If you got a few of your apartment neighbors to help next Halloween that yard could grow by leaps and bounds!

Great job for a first time out! Well done!

That's great! I love to see halloween bring out the best in people. Your landlord offering you a place to store your decorations brings that warm, fuzzy feeling to me. It looks really good!
