Just finished taking everything down. Had the garage decorated and the whole downstairs. Had a party on Sat with 80 people, a open house on Sun with 160 people and Wed we had TOT walk through the garage. Our theme was "when holidays collide". When you walked in the garage a talking deer head mimicked the Haunted House Elevator theme from nightmare before Christmas. When you went around the corner, you entered the Winter cemetary. Some pics with lights on and some with lights off. It was a fun theme not to be repeated again.
Am going to try building a dark ride in the garge next year. For my wife's and my costume, we had the makeup artist who did Jim Careys makeup in the Grinch movie make us prosthetics. He supplied the same adhesives and makeup used in the movie. My wife made the rest of the costumes. Took about 3 hours to put on for the party and about a hour to get off. On Wednesday I put it all back on and did the school parade with my daughter, Cindy Lou Who, I decided to keep it on all day to wear for halloween night. It was a long day. My face is still raw! But it was a pretty cool costume. Enjoy the pics, and I have enjoyed everyones pics and videos from this year!!Thanks!!

now thats a zillion times a better way to mix both holidays then people getting the airblown christmas stuff while their pumpkins are rotting on their porch or lawn lol

Thanks for the compliments. The large tree actually had a talking skull on top. He also recited the elevator theme from Disney. I did not get pics but I had my Frankenstein inflatible in front along with a snowman, a spider and santa. In the back yard on the view we had the giant franky, xmas tree and pumpkins. The Christmas lights on the roof were orange and white and I hooked them up so they dimmed and looked like they were shorting out. The Merry Christmas sign, being attacked by the spider, also was hooked up to the same. The giant spider on the left side of the house looked like he was pulling down the Christmas lights. I aslo had synched lightning on the outside along with 4 blue floods.
Not seen in the photos was Lionels Halloween train, it zigged and zagged through the gravestones and snow, just like it would under a xmas tree.
So many guests did not notice the details, I'm glad you guys do!!!
