So the yard haunt was going great overall, just had to run in and out occasionally to switch vsa routines, and my friends decide to stop by and hang out with me to help. So the nite goes on and my friend says to me "Mike you must really love all of this attention and praise your getting from the kids"... really most of them are more distracted by the candy and glowsticks then the hours of work and thousands of dollars spent for the show I told him... but atleast now were running out of glowsticks thank god so they have to look at the singing pirates and pumpkins.... no sooner did this leave my mouth than we looked over to watch the show and a little girl walks down the steps and I will always remember these words... "Look mommy, glowsticks!!!...." ... I couldnt have paid here to time that better... we just roared the rest of the night about it....Atleast the teens and adults liked it

Like they say, "From the mouths of babes..."!
If a few kids told their friends about your display the next day, it's all worth it.

My favorite from this year haunt was not a positive comment from a kid but a negative. When this little booger walked up to me standing in the graveyard and proudly said, “This is nothing, my Dad has his own haunted trail”! It was one of those “Oh yeah” moments that after the initial shock and first wanting to say, “well fine why don’t you get your little” you can fill in the blanks. I just had to chuckle at the proud little pirate who was thrusting his chest out and saber about and say. “well, then make sure you get plenty of graveyard candy”!
Ban Trunk or Treat!
