ok i am a kid again , i saw that at zellers yesterday while shopping for my daugthers xmas presents (she is 4) and i was running in the ilse to find hubby to show him that and he sais well Elizabeth (my daugther) as enough on her list as it is and i tell him not for her but for me lol , he looks at me like what ? lol i said if we can squeeze a pirate display in next year or in 2009 i need that parrot ..... if he records and sais what you want he sure can say happy halloween and stuff get where i am going at with this toy ???

    http://host.exemplum.com/hasbro/frf_...kers_video.htm

and i must say i am still a kid at heart cause i just love those types of toys , last year i bought the monkey and we aleready had a big fur rreal cat , and i wanted the poney lol but too expensive.... and i have a soft spot for that parrot i use to own a blue and gold parrot like since he was born and i had to hand feed him so he was my baby and knew a bunch of tricks and works so this is as close as getting a parrot to me then the real thing i guess .....i know i am nuts hehehehe but sure will make a great prop for a pirate seen with the tots if we get 700 like this year he might be dead by the end of the evening doh lol .....

They have one at Fright, I think, called Insulting Parrot. He says more adult related things and a few dirty words. I'll let you check it out, it might be inappropriate to post on here. Of course, we do our props for an adult party, not really TOT. All depends on what you want to use it for. I think the Fright parrot is the one I will be purchasing though.

yes i saw it and i dont like the insulting parrot , not apropriate for the people visiting us here at halloween , he is for a much mature audience

and that fur real parrot comes in a french version too thats one of the only complaint (well not complaint but disapointement maybe) that people tell me that the props speak english .....

i wonder if he is just battery operated or if he can have an adapter plug into him...

I bought one for my son and he broke it within 2 days. Just be careful and don't drop him.He is so funny he copies everything you say and he even passes gas

I think you are talking about the really nice "real fur friends"one that sells for about $50.
Not the $10 kind that just repeats things.
I looked at several diffrents discriptions on different sites and it just says batteries, no mention of ac adapter. it is really cool.

I should go into marketing! lol no... well yes... but your haunt really turned out great this year and I cant wait to see what the next year brings!

yes dark star the fur real one , i was in the store 1 hour yesterday petting his head to make it speak lol .....if he is just battery operated i need to figure out how to make him electric when i get him and do it without jumping the circuits aaarghhh so that means getting out of the electronic prop challenged categorie once again hahaha!

thedudedrummer , i tried getting the 2008 pirate display hint to hubby today , while storing the current halloween display in the pool shed , telling him it would be so awsome to make a big pirate ship on one side of the inground pool , had fountains in the pool that are activated when the cannons shot the smoke etc ,and pirate singing in a cave made of false rocks.... he just gave me the look like are you mad woman lol .....i laughed and said " what???" it is aleready fenced for security with a black iron fence so we save on that lol....i'll keep working on him

he is battery operated and he has a remote to him so you can make him say different sayings (which is anything you say he will repeat it).
