Sadly, with the word-of-mouth popularity of our haunt has probably made this the last year for giving out really big treats...unless I hit the lottery between now and next Halloween.

Over the years, we've gone from 30 TOTers to 150. We are VERY rural and TOTers come from up to six miles away just to ring our door bell. We even had TWO farmer's tractors pulling hay rides with 16-18 kids on board visit this year!

Sorry to hear you're throwing in the towel, boowho. But at the same time, 30 to 150 TOTers is a real testament to what a good job you do!

Ha! I keep threatening to hand out one piece of generic bulk candy next year with one Walmart plastic pumpkin as a decoration next year just to get the numbers back down!

But you still had some left over, right? So that's good, you aren't turning anyone away yet.
We get between 300-400 every year and there's no way I could give prizes like that. I sometimes wish I got fewer kids so I could do something special like you do rather than hand out 400 blow pops, ya know? Those kids that come to your house are going to remember you all their lives and tell their own kids about you! Keep it up as long as you can!
