What is everyones favorite halloween moment of this year?

Mine would have to be when the kids came up to our porch and told us how wonderful our decorations were.

My boyfriends mother with her witch laugh, it really did spook out some people, hahaha!

Our youngest son (20) drove from Ohio to surprise his mother by showing up at our party Saturday night, in costume! He is the hitch-hiker with the cardboard Las Vegas sign.

The best moment this year for me was the fact that the younger sister of a friend of mine was going to be going door to door toting for the first time, she's seven and autistic. She had only gone to our local malloween before. Well I was the First house for her. I had a treat bag waiting for her, which I loaded up even more when she came in. I was in full costume and had all of the indoor props active. She had the Biggest Smile and was laughing at some of the actions of the props.

Granted I probally set her TOT standards rather high. But I know she had a fun time.

This was a great year, as we did alot of halloweeny things before the big night. But the best thing was when my two year old realized that she really liked TOTing. At first she didn't know what the hell we were doing, but after the first couple houses it was "another house, another treat!"
I can't tell you how proud I was at that moment-my little monster is officially a Halloweener!

    I have two...

my hidden video camera picked up my sister in law talking to her friend giving my haunt HUGE compliments.. meant a lot to me because I know it was sincere.

the second was a boy of about 12 that literally fell to his knees in fear..... TWICE!! lol He got up laughing so I think it was more shock than fear but it was hilarious.

My favorite was the trio of teenaged girls, who after shrieking and running when the "FCG-style-wearable-ghost-puppet-guy" got 'em, said, "Okay, let's go round again!" ... and hesitated and cowered and shrieked and ran AGAIN!

That and all the copious comments and thank-you's, and the laughter at my silly "Victor Frankenstein in the lab" schtick. It's really nice to know your haunt has been the highlight of the evening for a couple of hundred people.

Best had to be a TOT about 9-10 totally enthralled with our Zultan fortune teller and not noticing there was a hanging spider near his ear. His friend tapped him on the shoulder and told him to look left, when he did the spider was just inches from his nose. He jumped back so fast that he literally jumped out of his shoes.
His friend busted out laughing and he went chasing him LOL!

My favorite was these 2 little girls about (6/7) dressed up as witches. It seem when they saw my husband dressed up as the wolf they fell in love. They came back later that night and they asked" where was our wolf" and I made the comment that he was taking a break they stood there till he came out begged him to put on the wolf mask acted like he was scary then as they were leaving with their parents they both ran up and asked me if it was o.k. to hug my big bad wolf.

My most favorable moment would be the little boy named Jacob who came to my campsite to see my pirates and didn't leave until he saw my routine 7 times. His mom said he didn't want to leave so I promised he could come back tomorrow and see them again and I would even give him some pirate candy. I'll never ever forget the look on his face.
