Well I am wondering how all the number were with the rest of you on Halloween.

We had 425 TOTs from 6PM until 9PM.

We started taking down all our Halloween props on Halloween at 9PM and moving them into the garage.

We were in having hot cocoa by 11:30PM.

We collected a lot of food for the local food shelf (estimates are over 300 pounds).

It will be at least 10 days before I can use the garage for vehicles.

I will be going through withdrawal until October 2008.

410 official TOT here. Not counting adults, and not counting the special needs school which brought about 25 kids through, but brought their own treats as some were on special diets, and are quickly becoming a leading candidate if I start doing this for charity again.

Was getting aweful nervous for a while there, as we had 450 treats ready, I was prepared to start diving into the kids buckets.

Everything is down, and 90% is actually put away already.

    WOW! 400's!
And I thought our count of 115 was decent.
I'm NW of Mpls, and on a low traffic road, but our count keeps rising each year.
The neighbors on both sides of us have told us the count used to be about 30-40 before we moved in 6yrs ago. One of the neighboprs had to make a 8pm candy run this year!
Some day I'll be able to play with the big boys.

    I hate Georgia...

I had the best year since moving to Griffin on Halloween this year. After last year's fiasco of 2 Trick or Treaters, this year in our new house, we had about 20.

    Once again...I hate Georgia.

We lost count after 125 and there were probably some that we missed while we were still trying to keep count. Probably no more than 150-175.

Last year we had under 60. Year before that, maybe 40.

We had lots of people tell us that they remembered us from last year, so that's cool!

    UnOrthodOx,
We were like you - nervous because of the slow start. The old daylight savings was nice because they started earlier. This year they didn't start until after 6PM (must have been too light out) and our last ones show up right at 9PM. The first hour was very slow (under 100). Then things picked up nicely.
I spent the weekend trying to get the garage emptied of Halloween props. No such luck. I still have things to do outside and then on to the inside stuff. Will it never end?!?

    NailBiter,
We were also in those numbers when we started. Slowly things continue to come up. We never allow the paper to put our address in the stories they put in the papers. We always want to keep it "local" and only rely on the word of mouth.
Remember - be careful what you wish for.

    Mr_Nobody,
Did you look at the big picture - you increased by 1000%. Way to go. Keep it up. That means you should look for 200 people next year! Hang in there - the TOTs will keep coming. One year we stuff mailboxes with information about our haunt. We went from 35 to 110 in one year. I hope that happens to you.
