1. I need about 20 bags of ice for the fog chiller (I had 4- oops! Kids love it either way!)
2. I need to take the day BEFORE Halloween off too!

That I need to take the day after off and not just the day of. (sooooo tired... so much to do when I get home
)
That you have to set the candy back farther than the older kids can reach.
That while Dh loves Halloween, he is pretty stubborn about leaving out large props all year in the regular decor. ("but honey, Boris the 6' mummy just fits so well in that corner!")
That I'm going to have to invest in tools soon. I did all of my props with artist's supplies and really need things like drills and saws.
That I'm obsessed. Truly and completely obsessed.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

That my neighbors aren't the evil monsters I thought them to be.

I've finally learned that you can't give TOT's choices!
I give out all sorts of toys. You would think that they would spy something that caught there eye, grab it and go, But NOooooOOOOoooooo! They have to pick up and put down every darned thing after a careful seven minute examination.
Even when I culled down the choices to 5 different tables that to which they were asiigned after spinning a wheel of fortune numbered 1-5, they STILL took forEVER choosing something from 'their' table.
Next year might bring bank the uni-treat!

- That we don't get many ToT's around here (first year here)

- That I only needed ONE bag of ice and ONE 10lb block of dry ice for the fog chiller (Bought two bags of ice and 30lbs of dry ice)
- Parents & neighbors appreciated the "haunt" more than the kids
- A balcony that's only 8' x 27' is too small to do a really good haunt (but we'll keep trying!)
- We need some mechanical and scare props to really freak people out
- HalloweenForum.com is a great resource and it not only inspired us, but gave us some very practical information that made our Halloween what it was.
Oh, and buy apple cider before Halloween. We got the last quart in the store, but was it ever tasty! (add cinnamon sticks, dried orange slices, heat on the stove and add spiced rum - Sailor Jerry - before serving!)

Next year let hubby do his thing . The Wolf costume didn't go over as well as he like 2 little girls wanted to give the big doggie a hug. Just because 1 fog machine works doesn't mean they all work (we forgot to try them out before Halloween)

1) We have a big front lawn, so next year it will be filled.
2) I need not worry so much about vandalism next go 'round.
3) Must get my mask and prop business back running (took a year off)
4) Need to learn more about relays, servos, controllers, etc.Mundus Vult Decipi Decipiatur... The world wants to be deceived, let it be deceived.

definitely love the duct tape. I got the 3M black tape @ Lowe's and it worked just fine!
