I had some interesting TOT's last night...but the most bizzare one had to be a boy of 9 or 10 dressed as a pimp, big hat, lots of bling, big stick....odd enough, but his mother was dressed as a prostitute!!
Anyone else have something unusual?

Oh, that's great, props to his mother for having a good sense of humor. I was lucky enough to get one or two in a costume at all.

...you know, we saw a pimp as well... a kid around 12. I'm sorry, but I think some parents need a good shaking... Other than that, everything was fairly standard. I was just so happy to see that here where we live now, it was just a TON of kids out, and not 16 year old mothers ToTing with 2 month olds in strollers. >< Urgh...

Saw a pimp and ho as well. On the street corner on Main, no less. It was interesting. No other interesting costumes. At all. Just pirates and princesses all the way.

Normal stuff, but I did have at least 20 spidermans (or is that spidermen?)
About a third didn't have costumes, but that's okay.
One girl about 9 or 10 made her own costume - she was a clown scarcrow, and had even made the big shoes herself. We raved over her costume cause it's always nice to see the ones that care enough to make it - they're Halloween addicts in training, you know!I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

Best I saw was a two-person refrigerator made from refrigerator box. Had doors on top and bottom with one person looking out from each space! Nice seeing British creativity
Good morning to you Billy Bones, Billy Bones. Good morning to you charming Billy.

Unusual, in this case meaning, 'disturbing'... there were waaaay too many young girls in 'sexy' outfits... baby Bratz, cheerleaders, etc... too many ultra mini's and bare middles on girls as young as 7. More disturbing even was a soccer mom standing next to me, (OK, she barged in front of me, but I'm trying to be even-tempered), at our elementary school's Halloween parade. She proclaimed that her daughter wanted to be a 'sexy schoolgirl' and she told her to 'just roll up your skirt and open you top a bit'. Yikes.
Seems there's a trend in decrying the scary part of this holiday, while at the same time embracing the sexuality in pre-teens. Or, I'm just getting old.Mundus Vult Decipi Decipiatur... The world wants to be deceived, let it be deceived.

Oh Great responses! Almost forgot to mention one Dad showed up with his 4 year old....Dad was dressed as a beer keg and it looked home made, pretty good though...the 4 year old was a fireman....not sure if they drink heavily or not...LOL
