My 6 year old nephew, currently being obsessed with the Titanic, insisted he go as Captain Smith, with beard and all....He was so cute!

We had an older teenage/young adult couple dressed up as Shrek and Fiona. They were on the chubby side and needed no padding. I really admired them for getting out there in costumes that said "Yeah, we're fat - so what?"

We also had lots of spiderman, princess/fairy and leopard/lion costumed kids. I would say 97% of our crowd were in costumes.
The best young costume I saw was a three/four month old laying back in a stroller. He was dressed in tattered, torn clothes and had greenish paint marks on his face...a baby zombie!! One older teen was roaming the neighborhood dressed as a very scary zombie complete with mask, clothing, was completely silent, doing the zombie walk. He chased many screaming kids down the street!
One eleven/twelve year old girl had on a home made vampire costume and had streaks of blood running all down her face. You could see the effort she put into it. I told her that her make up looked great and asked how she did it. She went into an explanation of what she had tried that didn’t work as blood and how she finally came up with what worked. I praised her a lot as I saw the potential for a special effects make up artist. She was beaming with pride when she left our haunt. I’m hoping in a few years she can come back and do my make up for me because I suck at make up!! LOL"Look what your brother did to the door!" Original TCM

If you see her again and ask her, she might faint from the excitement.
