Thread: help , need thank you gift for firemans ...

as i wrote on another post we had the very generous help last night of 5 fireman with the security truck and the big truck with the ladder to make traffic and help people park last night , it was so great of them to come and offer the help , we learned we wore suppose to have 1 to slow the traffice down from the maire when my husband went to ran some errans and ran into him , the mair said it was discussed at the meeting at city all monday night that their was to be one fireman for security ......

but we got 5 ....lol

ok so i need suggestion for a small thank you gift for them to bring down to the station by tomorow with a card.....i think it is just normal to thank them for what they did last night for us and we want them to know we truly apreciate it...

any suggestions ???????

Firemen like food If you can bake something it will surely be devoured.

Donations to your local burn center in their name is also always welcome.

A large gift basket with muffins, cookies, etc... that would be nifty.

thanks everyone , problem is we are a very small town so the firemens do have daytime jobs too so their not always at the municipal garage so food not sure about that i might try a basket with various kinds of coffees stuff like that ... ?

I am a Gift basket designer/owner,Firemen love something that they can just grab and eat,so your best bet is either a fruit basket or coffee/tea,cookies,crackers,cheese,hard candy.
