We lost count after 125 TOTs, and there were probably a bunch that we missed throughout the night.
This is the first year I used cross lighting and angles, and I finally finished my first totally homemade anamatronic, Witch Hazel. She stirs her (fog machine fed) smoking cauldron over a glowing fire.
I also remembered to take decent pictures, and even figured out how to do the no flash/long exposure on my camera, so I have NIGHT SHOTS!(yeah, I know it's not that big a deal, but I am horrible with technology)
Best moments:
A 12 year old boy was trying to get his mom to look at a prop deep in the yard, and snapped his fingers in the air to get her attention. The snaps set off my FCG that was stationed right next to them (but is sound activated and almost invisible until the lights, motion and sound kick on) and they both jumped and shrieked!
Overheard two young boys: "this is the coolest house on the block!" "No, this is the coolest house in the neighborhood!"
One neighbor (that we've never met) stopped her car and yelled out of her window as we were setting up that she wished there was a prize for the best Halloween yard, cause Dh and I totally deserved it! She said her kids were constantly saying how spooky our house was, and could not wait for Halloween night!
Too-many-to-count comments that they couldn't believe we made some of the props, and how wonderful it was.
So here's our pics... finally!
And night shots...

taking night or low light shots –

It's a regular digital camera, but I turned off the flash and set it to night mode and that allows it to take a longer exposure, thereby only allowing ambient light and not the $%#! flash to light up the photo. (sounds simple, but I had to drag out the manual and fuss with the stupid thing to get it into the right mode)
The trick is to either have a tripod or a handy stepladder to put the camera on. A human isn't able to hold the camera still enough to take long exposures without blurring the crap out of the photo. So put the camera on a steady support, aim it at what you're wanting to capture, then depress and STEP AWAY without brushing the support or camera... and you should end up with a decent night/low light shot that isn't blurry.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

Lovely display I hope my "mini come back haunt" will expland next year...wait I know it will.
It sucks that I was no doing anything Haunt wise in over 6 years but now that I have items "built" up I will re-use these props and GO FOR MORE EXPENSIVE ones next year, it sucks Halloween is once a year.
