I was handing out candy when my 3 year old came into the foyer choking, I had to give him the hiemlich maneuver 5 times to get the blockage out. What was he choking on? Some sort of candy, nothing I was giving out. He was not supposed to even be able to get to his halloween candy. Gave me quite a scare, I am a dental professional, so I am trained but when it is your own baby, and what is supposed to work isn't.....that is the biggest scare I have had on halloween.

I'm so sorry -- that is so scary to see. We had a run in similar to that with one of our kids, so we know how long it takes for your heart to stop pounding, but it takes them a fraction of that time! Kids!

had that happen to my little girl 3 years ago (she was 4 then) one of the worst scares of my life - glad everything is ok - nothing is as important as your next breath

glad to hear the little one is ok. That can be a truly scary experience when it's ur own.
