Thread: Disappointed

Well I am a little disappointed in how the night went. Since the time change didn't occur it was light for the first half of the night, which completely took away from my yard haunt. It was also rather breezy so my fog machine was worthless.
We had about 30 kids come in the first 30 mins, and I thought, cool, this is going to be a good night. Then around 6:50 our last kid came. For the next hour and ten minutes, not one TOT stopped by. It was a ghost town.
Last year we had about 90 kids and it was rainy and cold. This year is wonderful weather and 30 kids.

I don't know. I guess that is how it goes sometimes.

mann I know how you feel, I got more kids then 30, I'd say maybe a hundered.
but attendence was way down. I heard that main st.(2 streets over) was packed.
but not many venture to a 6 block street with only 3 houses giving out candy.

on the bright side I must say the teens were cool, no attitudes. just nice comments

same here - was pleasantly surprised by that - we also had around 100 TOTers - overall a good night

Yeah, I know how you feel. We had around 35 kids or so come up to get candy. Some kids even passed by our house and we had a wonderful display outside. We were also outside waiting for kids to come up.


It's weird how things go sometimes.
