Has anybody else noticed fewer kids saying "Trick or Treat" anymore? More and more they're just coming up, stopping, and giving you a blank stare. Even when prompted, they're still reluctant to say anything.

I'm not that scary. If they're not going to have the decency to threaten us with tricks, why should they get any treats? What is with these kids?!?!

Tell me about it! I started saying it for some of the whippersnappers.

Did anyone besides me also get weenies who were on their CELL PHONES while trick-or-treating (or should I say, while walking up to my house and expecting candy without saying one word to me).

Then there was the boy who tried to steal a pretzel bag from my hand and then pounded on the window of my door!

    Punk kids!

I got very polite kids this year. Lots of "Trick ot treat" "Thank you!" "You're house is awesome". I was surprised by the kids this year.

LoL No I didn't get that! Thank God! We had the light inside turned off, the lights in the front porch were black light, so it made it difficult to see, so when the door bell rang, I jumped around the corner thrusted the door open and scared the crap outta the kids... 4 girls started crying, 1 girl jumped back so far she busted her butt, while her friends all laughed, she damn near had a seizure or something, she kept breathing really hard and was just scared to death, lol. Then a little princess girl left her dress in our yard (not sure how or why), and several others ran away and didn't even get any candy, suckers!

    LOL.

All in all they were pretty much scared sh!tless. Most of the parents were like "Dude that is soo cool!"

All I had was a SAW JIGSAW mask, LoL, nothing else.

Man I can keep going, but noen said trick or treat... O'well... Next year.

The only ones that did not say trick or treat were the very young....a couple of teenagers came by..said Trick or treat, and thank you and Happy Halloween, but I did notice that one was carrying a huge bage of TP....someones trees are gonna get it. Thankfully, TP in the trees are not malicious, do no damage and bio-degrate rather fast.

That was my experience this year too. Good kids- even the older ones. Surprising, but nice!

I had a few that just stood at my door without saying anything LOL, but there were a lot of people that stated trick or treat MORE IMPORTANTLY a lot said thank you, what a change I would have to say my generation compared to this generation was not as up to par on the MANNERS.

I think we're blaming the wrong people...not the kids fault. Parents!! I had more parents this year who didnt bother saying a word. I feel sorry for the kids...its the parents blame.

    Just my 2 cents..
