We were really doing good at first - I brought our monsters lab out into the front yard and had the kids pretty grossed out (even preteens).. BUT as soon as it got dark - NOTHIN... NOONE... ZIP.. ZERO -- I sat outside for a good hour and half and maybe had two tricker treaters.... seems that all but two house had their lights off and since we live in a semi culdesac no one came up the street (boo hoo) Talked to my hubby on the phone and he said that him and the little one hit a street way done the hill and all the houses were decked out one even had a dj at their haunted house... I wanna live on that street!!! I want the tricker treaters too... not fair (pouting now and holding my breath).. Oh well next year I will put up signs COME VISIT ME!

That sounds just like what happens here. Just down the street and around the corner was a huge number of TOTers and none came here. My neighbors ask me constantly to decorate and yet they keep their lights off. I am ready to move my stuff to another location next year and say to heck with my neighbors!

Welcome to what happens here in Canada ever since the years rolled past 96 ish, I had a good amount of TOT's this year so I cannot complain I even got COMMENTS such as you have the coolest house, you are a SCARY/SPOOKY house.

After taking a loooooong haitus from Halloween I was semit satisfied, next year will be a bigger haunt/new home and the area I will reside it is MORE POPULATED I cannot wait.

That sounds like my neighborhood.. no one does TOT, all the houses sit dark but for mine of course lol I sent out about 30 invites to our haunted house and the kids told their friends at school. We had 75 kids and about 30 adults that was a good turn out for us. Next yr I'll put out a sign and send more invites
