DH and I are celebrating 5 years of wedded bliss tomorrow!
We're both off, and will probably go to a nice place for lunch, but I plan on hitting a few stores like party city and getting some stuff for next year before heading home to set up the last props for the big night.
My mother thinks I'm insane because I do this and even said how are you going to do an anniversary if we had kids, and what a stupid day it was to get married on.
I told her that if we had kids, we'd just have another great costume opportunity and I love the idea of taking a child of mine TOT, so how was that a problem?
I'd rather spend my anniversary with my Dh by my side, scaring the crap out of TOTs and passing out candy and toys and hearing the squeals of excitement and complements on our spooky house, than get gussied up and do the typical dinner-and-a-movie schick. We don't do cards or gifts other than Halloween stuff.

Congrats Frankie's Girl and Child of the Night! My husband and I are celebrating 4 years tomorrow as well.
