Just thought a quick review of local Haunts and Mazes would be good so the great people of this forum can know for next year.
COLORADO HAUNTS
Screampark- Loacted in Brighton, CO
Scare Level- Poor
Props/Lighting/Actors - 2
Overall: Not worth $15.00. The lighting was terriable. It's outside and there are litterly actors through out the whole thing jumping out every 5-10 feet.
The Asylum- Loacted in Northglenn,CO
Scare Level- 5
Props/Lighting/Actors-5
Overall: Great. Worth every penny. The anticapation for waiting in line is worth it. The big black wall you go through at the end makes you feel captive. So scary a women really passed out. Another women ( 19-23) wet her pants.

The Beast - Located in Kansas City
Scare Level - 2
Props/Lighting/Actors - 1
Overall: Disappointing! It was way too dark, not enough scares and potentially pretty dangerous. It was so dark and the paths were so tight we were lucky we didn't break a leg. Plus, because it was so dark, couldn't really see the scare actors. Some of the props were cool though. They had huge ones! I'd pass on this though.
The Edge of Hell - Located in Kansas City
Scare Level - 3
Props/Lighting/Actors - 2
Overall: A little better. This seemed to have more thought put into this one (Beast and this are owned by the same company). Had a dropping floor, rope bridge, squeezing walls and a four-story spiral slide in complete darkness. But the scares were too far spaced apart and too dark again. But I'd go again to ride that slide! You get to the bottom and you are completely disorientated. Loved that!
