Default Give your display a movie rating ......

I have transform my garage from theater to a walk in maze , my current rating was PG (displayed) movie night with 6-8's everywhere, now the teens will be coming so I give it a PG-13 rating in the garage with a couple of actors pushing the R rating. Tell me how you would rate yours, yard and/or maze. G- cute,PG-spooky,PG-13-creepy, R- monsters, zombles, etc. X- for extreme, blood, guts and gore. With so many young kids here I try to keep it PG-13 (family friendly) with a little R here and there. See my new garage pics here too http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee13/Bozz-7/ tell me if my ratings are correct and please give yours too.

Nice prop work! We stick to a "G" mostly because we have younger kids. But I tell ya, as they get older, we'll be adding more creepy stuff for sure, so hopefully we'll get to have a "PG-13" by they time their in high school. (Mind, that's purely subjective anyway - you're always going to have those that think the mildest ghoul or groundbreaker should be an "R".)

We stay PG for our yard haunt.
No gore, no sex and violence...

that's all for the inside.

PG at the most. My graveyard is kind of spooky at night with a few skeletons popping up here and there and my witch trio looks pretty serious with the green floodlights and fog effect but there's nothing that would traumatize anybody. I don't do gore at all.

Maybe PG, but pretty close to G. Graveyard, fog, some pretty decent blacklight ghosts. The scariest thing in it is the Midnight Syndicate playing on the speakers. (which counts for a lot.)

No gore for me. I have a mad scientist lab inside the house, for a party this year. Still considering whether to let ToT's inside to view it.

Mine is an "X" rated haunt.

I have to buy less candy that way...the little ones and most of the bigger ones are afraid to approach the house.

Yeah I'm kidding....PG really.

Wow,.....you guys got me thinking maybe I'm a PG too, at least front yard is,but my garage is getting closer to a PG-13, still no gore or blood here either. Yeah the sound effects and fog really change the ratings of which we have both. One of our actors is a Zombie Dr. so I would say his costume is R rated but I have no control over the costumes anyway. I'm kinda surprised at all the PG ratings, but thats good and family friendly anyhow IMHO.

I'd rate mine about PG-13 for the main haunt and a light PG in the garage for the younger kids. In time the back yard may move more into R rated territory though.
