Last year I set up a styrofoam archway entrance/exit. (It is one that I bought cause it was on sale.......and it looks really nice) Only problem is that I had to use some wood squewers to hold it together. As long as nothing bothered it, it was fine and remained upright. About half way through the night it was ripped down, because when the kids left the yard running they tried to use it to make a quick turn.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can prevent this from happening?
I would really like to use it again, but don't want it to get ripped down.
It has a top that is part of it so it is only about 5 foot wide. I could always just put the columns up.

I don't have a picture but I will try to get one. I picked it up from Spirit Halloween last year. (If that helps you any)

insert a long piece of rebar down th middle where it seperates in 1/2 instead of those small wooden shims
