Is everyone setup all the way. Or are other people cutting it close like me.
I finaly got the structure up for my haunt. I still have to run audio, lighting, and decorate. Only a week left. It is time to start recruiting family members to help set up.

We only have the cemetery fence up so far. Will do the garage and back patio, and lay out lighting this weekend. The graveyard doesn't go up until Halloween Day itself. Testing foggers tomorrow and still have as couple of props to finish up but so far am still on schedule. Weather is good for the most part through Sunday so that'll help.

I was moving along smoothly and then the wildfires hit here in San Diego so its been hard to get outside and work since the ash and smoke is thick. Hopefully I will get back out there tomorrow and get working again. There are definitely a lot of projects that I wanted to get get done that I think I will have to wait until next year..

I[m not even close to being ready. Don't even have my graveyard setup yet. I've had my Brother and Father both in the Hospital, and that's taken up all my free time. So I will be cutting it real close this year.

haverghast asylum,
I always come up with ideas and/or props and finish them just before the first TOTs arrive. That's what makes it so fun. I scare myself every year doing this.
I feel sorry for you people in San Diego having to endure the fires, smoke and wind. I wish you all safe passage through this ordeal and only the best of luck."Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Double, double toil and trouble-- Something wicked this way comes "

Havergast, have you finally gotten the all clear from the inspector? If so, glad to hear it.
My haunt is nearly ready for Halloween. 3 gravestones left to paint, some minor reinforcements to my TOT greeters arms... I think that's about it really. I just need to get it all set up for the big night.
