Thread: Help with my lightning

This year I will be adding lightning to my display. I was curious what others have experienced with the placement of their fixtures? I have a moderate tree line across the back of my cemetery and I considered placing the fixtures up about 12 feet and directing the lighting flashes up into the tree tops. I was concerned that if I direct them downward it would wash out the low light creepiness of the cemetery setting as well as illuminating some of the props and ruining the surprises they hold.
I have two spot lights inside of 6" pvc cans. I am working on a design that would be more of a trough style utilizing a reflector to direct light upward.
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
