Now is the time to start looking for deals for next year. Let's use this post to list great sales as we come across them.

I bought a 6' animated gemmy witch at Home Depot today for $20. It was 50% off. There was also the 6' grim reaper for the same price.

I went by my Home Depot and the section they had Halloween in is trashed.

Even worse, the whole front of the store, from customer service to the checkouts, is Christmas! At Home Depot! YUCK! What is wrong with big retailers that they think it's okay to put out Christmas before Halloween.

target has some great clearance on halloween decor, just search "halloween decor clearance"

Just an FYI, Target has the Wise-cracking skeleton in a cage on clearance on their website for only $11.99 but says it is only available in stores. But when I went down to the store they had it full price of $39.99. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they dont honor the Target.com price. I advised her that they dont even offer the option online of purchasing it. She didnt know why but refused to honor the clearance price. It was like that with all the items on clearance that are designated only available in-store.

I am not sure how I am able to buy the item for the advertised clearance price if it is only available in stores and the stores wont honor the price.

UPDATE: All of the items in my store are now marked 50% off! Depending on how close you are to Dallas, it's possible there's still time to get items to you by Halloween.

My local Home depot told me yesterday that they will not discount anything until AFTER Halloween. Oh well I'll wait until then....

I live in the Phoenix area, but if anyone has Fry's Marketplace near them they have a 20% off coupon in this weeks ad good for all halloween items, and most of them are on sale already!

Also Target has a sets of 2 small outdoor rock looking speakers on clearance in the garden center for 50% off. Now $19.98

Our Big Lots has 25% off the purchase of ONE Halloween item. Never saw that one before. hmmmm
But they don't have anything I desperately need, but I may check them out again after Halloween.
