    Hi guys,

Just curious what people have spent so far this year...

I have spent areound $1600 in decorations and another $850 for my costume and accessories...

Am I the only nut here that can't control his spending?...

I have a love/hate relation to Halloween...I love it all except for the credit card bill!...lol

i bought an awesome darth vader costume and the fx lightsaber with real sounds...also assembled a good voice changer that really deepens my voice...also has a breathing device sound effect and the blinking lights on the belt/chest box...the costume alone can go for a grand by itself...always wanted to go as him, but never had an opportunity re finding one so like the movie (got it off ebay)...thats me in the pic (not a great shot, i know)

I bought the Halloween in a box PRO and a skull with body from Skulltronix this year so that put me over $3000. But, I did sell alot of my props to raise the money.

I don't keep track....don't want to know lol If I really sat down and added up what we spend, I probably wouldn't do it anymore! Would take the fun out of it. Nice thing about dutch bank accounts is that you can go up to a month's salary in the red. No bouncing till you reach that amt in the red. I haven't hit red yet lol And I figure its once and year and we don't go out alot so this makes up for it

I keep a very basic tally, but not of every little detail. As MsMeeple said, I don't like to ruin it by focusing on the costs. As long as I don't go too nuts I get to keep on doing it each year.

I've probably spent about $150 this year. I do a lot of things with left-overs, look for construction sites that have scrap they don't need/want, paint mis-colors, etc. It really helps sae some $$.

Vancouver-I'm a member of several Star Wars related groups and usually costume as a Jedi, but I'm also working on a Stormtrooper for next year. Congrats on the Vader!
