Hi, I got this electrical buzzer but it has no power cord. I want to know if all I have to do is like snip off end of extension cord and just wire it or do i need something else. The label on it read Line Relays MC Buzzer 120 VAC and either a 3 or 8 VA. I've included pictures. So yah basically my question is do all i have to do is attach a plug on it then plug and play or is anything else needed? BTW please only post if you have a definite answer and know what your talking about last thing I need is frying to death.

YES, wire the the plug right to the two wires coming from the buzzer.

Are you going to use it as a way to startel TOTs?

did you have the cover on when you tried it. the clacker on the pictures looked like it may have been designed to hit the cover.

I had the cover on but it doesn't use cover to clack so I'm gonna try it without cover.
