I made some the other year. The front was a picture I drew that looked like a store front with Halloween items on shelves. The font was a spooky font. Details were on the back. I had copies made at Staples and then handed them out to people.
I plan on getting some pics put on disk early next week. Will try to remember to take pics and then post.Nyx

Here's the one I did for this year. I just started working on the website, so please be kind, but the flyer will be posted at several local grocery stores, gas stations, etc. over the next week or so. I figure 2 weeks from the big day should be plenty for me.
Comments/Suggestions are certainly welcome...

I'd also love to see what anyone else has done...two heads are creepier than one, I always say!

Thanks! I mainly gathered several creepy fonts from online, and the zombie image I got from a pumpkin carving I did a few years ago. Then combined them all using MS Publisher...really easy to use.
You could certainly do most of this in MS Word or other word processor if you use tables for the layout.BigGeek (Chris)

those are the ones that i found on here as well. i think i will use the haunted house one. do you think i should put free somewhere on the flyer so people know? if so, where/how?
