i live in a cold-a-sac that is at the top of a hill, and there are trick-r-treaters in t he neighborhood, but few come up the hill(i guess it is discouraging i guess) because it is also dark. it's safe to say i have the best Halloween setup in the neighborhood, and i really want to show it off.

what ideas do you guys have to "advertise"?

Put up a pair of small signs at the nearest intersection with and Arrow (or Skeletal Hand) pointing to your Hauted House, and. of course, the words "HAUNTED HOUSE" in some sort of creepy Font.

another good idea one problem is that the intersection has no street lamp(i don't know why) and is very darkly lit. any suggestions on how to light up the sign? i couldn't put in a normal light, since there aren't any outlets capable of reaching it. i could do a flashlight.

They have free standing solar lamps, they're like $30 but you could attach the sign to that lightpost pointing in your direction. Just be sure to ask/inform the homeowners whose yard you're using.

I'd go with the luminaries. If you could lead them up the hill, even better.
