We impaled some bluckys on poles. I made the top spikes from carved foam coated with latex and paint. They are a HUGE hit in the neighborhood. We have cars constantly slowing down to look hehehe
Our tombstones (the second and third are store-bought, the rest are hand made by moi)...
And the one on the right of the gargoyle is also store-bought)
When we got home today from shopping, there was a guy on a motercycle sitting in front of our house. One of our neighbors was telling him that we have just barely begun to decorate and they told him about how our haunt is the neighborhood highlight.
The guy turned out to be a DJ from a local popular radio station and he asked if we would mind if he set up a live broadcast remote from our house on Halloween! He also said that he would like to notify the two local tv stations to get better coverage!
My head is spinning!!!!!

Thanks everybody! This is so cool and exciting.
RRguy, there is never enough time but it helps to begin on next year last year. And I'm not kidding. We are already working on next years plans.
theboogeymengraveyard (I love your nick btw), we already have tons of candy and family members have bought bags and bags to donate to the cause too. I hope we don't run out but we should be ok. Plus we give out plushies, glow bracelets and balloons (the balloons are for a head count) so we should have enough crap to hand out.
All our haunters have confirmed that they're on board, their costumes are set and ready to roll. All fog machines have been tested, strobes and black lights are in working order...we're ready to rock and roll. But I'm beginning to get nervous. This will be our biggest haunt to date.
We're spoon feeding the yard props little by little to the neighborhood and they're eating it up.
Gotta love it hehehehe**********

Wow, that is so awesome!! I am excited for you!! truthfully, I am jealous, I got only 8 TOTers last year, I have to feed my addition by doing 2 camping haunts. But I think this year, I am going to be positive, and think if you build it they will come, It will mean setting up 3 times, but hey, more to love, right! (or go grey over!)
I have flying monkeys- and I'm not afraid to use them!
