We don't do the typical haunt because we live on a main street where we don't get many, if any trick or treaters at all...so we tend to decorate in more of a fun, kitschy kinda Halloween way!
Here are some pictures of what our house looks like this year!
And yes, I had to buy some Skel-a-mingos!They are the perfect addition for a Florida Halloween!

That's who we gear our decorating for...the little ones! Our neighbors have a grandson who is only 3 and is going to TOT for the first time this year, so we wanted it to be fun for him. We get a handful of TOT's every year, mostly 8 years old and under...therefore we like to keep the decorating light and fun and not freak any of 'em out at too young of an age...LOL

Those flamingos are wicked! haha where did you find those? I'm afraid (no pun intended YET haha) that my house might be on the scary side but if kids are not coming for candy I'll dumb it down or just go outside and assure them everything is cool.
I have some scary props (some make noise) a cd I'm playing (Halloween sounds) and the rest I won't give away until I post up pictures in another week approximately.
