Anyone know where to buy this stuff? I have looked at every store in our town and only one had one can for $8.79/can. A little expensive.
Any info desperatly appreciated....

I got mine at A.C. Moore crafts. It was cheaper than what you quoted. I think Michaels might have it as well. It's nice stuff and you will really like the results. If you only have a small project to do, it's worth the money. I also used the clear top coat to protect it.

Yes, the stuff is pricey.
I've had the best luck finding it at Lowes/Home Depot/Ace Hardware, etc stores. And, yes, price ranges from $5 - $10 it seems.
If you're having trouble finding FleckStone specifically, try "Make it Stone" by Krylon. Same stuff. Looks great, and tends to be a tad cheaper.

Walmart. I'm not sure if it was Fleckstone or Make It Stone though.

Michaels has it for $8.00, use the 40% off coupon and it drops it too $5. Just remember to paint the item you want with a base coat of the color you want and then use the flexstone. For example, I made cemetary pillars and painted them light gray and then used the flexstone spray paint to give it that granite rock look. The base paint makes one can of flexstone go a long way.

It is expensive, but it goes a long way. Make sure you paint the object your base color before applying the fleck stone, and absolutely seal it after you are done.

Before you rush off to but Fleckstone, try doing what I do. Use a "Cement Wash" to cover your Styrofoam Tombstones. Basically just a slurry mix of cement and water, applied with a coarse paint brush. I use a Calsomine brush. Buy playing around with various latex paints, you can achieve any number of colors and tones - and it's dirt cheap, too. One point- the cement wash will chip easily. Take care when you store them, or they'll need touch-up next year.
