I was at Walmart this morning and could not pass up this unbelieveable FurReal cat:

To fit in to our coven theme this year, however, she needs to be BLACK.

Any ideas for dyeing her? Obviously, I can't immerse her in a vat o' RIT, and I wonder if the fur has some sort of protective coating.

    Any suggestions?

You might try the temporary hair colors that are available for Halloween right now.
They come in aerosol and pump versions and work like hairspray.

    Otherwise, not sure.

(I have two for-real black cats, short and long hair. Both are x-mas tree nuts. My calico is my Halloween kitty. Candy corn cat!)
