We've seen a few people getting started their on their yard decorations while driving the past couple of days, so finally today I decided I just couldn't wait any longer! Since Monday is the first, and today was the only day I will have the time for a couple of weeks, I just couldn't resist The whole family was outside helping out, so it didn't take too long and we all had fun. I love Halloween!!!!

We set up the graveyard and some light-up decorations. My creatures will probably come out the last week of October. Some things I still have to finish working on too. We're making a witch stirring a cauldron this year, and are planning on making boarded windows, and a giant spider web and victim since we bought a big(4') spider last year after Halloween. So little time!

I thought about setting up some cheap stuff yesterday....but then the wind kicked in.
    It was a major howler!

All I have room for at our department is a wicked window display.

Well, we have more room, but we doubt our animated props will still be there at the end of the night, so we're electing to stick with the window option this year. :-)

It was windy here too Jack, pretty much ruined the Fall Festival going on here all weekend, the only thing I can think of is it must be so windy here in Colorado because Kansas sucks.....yuck yuck, just kidding.

Kansas...Nebraska...Oklahoma....they all probly get a lot of props from here because of wind.
But if you think it is windy here...try Wyoming...the snow never melts there...it just blows around from place to place!

I started last sunday with fence ,archway, scean setter ,spooky tree, lights, countdown display and witch.I put up tombstones tuesday.Friday came lots of wind pulled two of my bigger walmart tombstones out of the ground and blew my archway and tree down.So hubby great guy he is went to work and made me some stakes and fixed my archway and tree.
Today I finished.I put my ring around the rosie ghost-my tombstone peeper(in jason mask with machetee, micheal myers groundbreaker, skulls and bones, flood lights, dead donna, big latex devil, and coffin with mummy.I have been a busy girl.I can't wait to see how it looks tonight.I am bringing my expensive stuff in every night I don't think anyone would take them but you never know.I also got out all my party stuff and stacked it in the corner.I also ordered two of the heavy tombstones from grandin road to complete my set I wish I could find more of these but at 100.00 a pop I probaly couldn't afford anymore.

Well, it looks like Mother Nature is stopping the rain for a day, so I can get most of my outdoor Halloween decorations up on Monday
But then it's back to Rain for a few more days.
