Well, I went into the 2 albertsons in gainesville yesterday and there were none of the big props. Then I went into albertsons in Ocala today and they had dr shivers for $99. I just got him earlier in the week from targets website for $150.Pondered returning him, but by the time I boxed him up and sent him back and made 2 more trips across town to get the other one I guess I wouldnt save much. Anyhow if anyone in the area is looking for one they had several, and that is definitely the lowest price ive seen.

One of Gemmy's life-size animated props. Pretty cool mad scientist. Here's a link:

Dr Shivers was the best prop of last years party...most of my guests loved him

He is a great animated prop that u could really do a lot with...ie mad scientist displays, autopsy, etc

I remember buying him from Canadian Tire (another unusual place to buy something like this) for 130 bucks (they now sell him for 140)...recently saw him at Save On Foods (a Canadian version of Safeway) for $129...great deals

Rip off artists on ebay and other internet companies list him over $200 (plus shipping/insurance and duties if u are across the border)

I'm from Union City California and I remember that Back in 2006 My Albertsons had him for 89 dollars!!!!! But I didn't buy him. And Now he's so rare!!! But I still bought one from Buyinflatables!!! In 2007!!

I wish that I could go back four years ago and buy him there so that I could've saved about 50 bucks!!!!!

Anyway Doctor Shivers isn't bad for 150 though he's Gemmy's best Life size figure ever!!!!!

maximpakt: you know, you can return online bought items at any Target store. I do it all the time! Just bring the packing slip.

Edit: Just realized the original post is really old! My post is likely irrelevant three years later! LOL
    Is it Halloween yet?
