    Hello all,

I just registered after searching for hours through this sight, nice to meet you all. With that out of the way I have a problem I need your pearls of wisdom with. We were pulling out our decorations getting ready for the weekend and after reaching the depth of our storage what I found was frightening.

Now as you can see my delimma I have all the cute junk I man can stand but this just isnt cutting it. This year I am taking Halloween back from wife. I am starting my collecting of vile ghoulies, things that go bump in the night, and other disgusting things. I have browsed the forums and Monster list and found quite a few projects that I feel I can pull off. HOWEVER! due to starting from scratch and running low on time I ask of you all that has done some of these projects where should I start? What do I have time for? What would you do ? I am meerly looking for ideas and feesability for my yard. below is what I have to work with.

And thank you for your support!

    Welcome to the boards!

Dude, that is a lot of inflatables.

Dont Panic, Plenty of time to get stuff together.

Your Front porch looks like a perfect place for a scary scarecrow to sit.

    Welcome!

Pick up the recent Martha Stewart Bad Things, Good Things edition and look at the spider house and raven/bird house. Some great ideas that would look great for your house. (Don't worry, they're vile and creepy).

Haha yeah, That is alot of inflatables. My wife loves them. She got most of them for 20-30 dollars the last few years after halloween. There just too cute. (In all actuallity there is a few of them I like.)

I was thinking of enclosing the porch in dropcloth or canvas to make a little room infront of the door and utilizing one of the inflatables (the big arch with no characters on it). The yard is definatly gunna be a graveyard of some sort.

    Update!
25 minutes first project done. Fog cooler Im about to test it now.

hi and welcome , a nice cemetery maybe? you can do tomstones , a coffin with a skeleton in it (static or animated ) , some skeletons doing all sorts of things like 2 or 3 that would be going up your porch roof as mischiefs, one could be digging a grave .....

or you have such a nice big window upstair how about a flotting crank ghost ? even your window downstairs is very large for a display and use of diffrent lighting ....

lots of possibilities , all depends on your budget and all the free time you have to make it ....

37 total minutes invested and I have 2 projects done. I really like how the ghost turned out. I still have to blue the cloth and wrap it better. Dont have enough cloth but thats what I raided from my wife. The fog chiller works good too. I have the ice on the bottom currently. Im going to try it with the ice on top with a tray next. I guess its modeled after a vortex chiller.

Welcome!! Your posts have given me a good chuckle.

Quick & easy are the pvc frames for static props. If you have an old reaper robe & a skull you can stick one of them in the yard in no time.

Lots of spider webs in the porch corners.

I like Witches idea of mischievous skeletons. Even just one sitting or hanging off the porch peak.

Build a life size coffin out of pine boards. Lay it on the grass and maybe buy a fake hand and have it stickign out of it. That would be a good weekend project or something.
