Not sure if anyone else has picked this issue up yet...but if you haven't don't bother. It's a total re-hash of all her other Halloween issues. I thought the dual cover was awesome, so I decided to buy it. When I started looking through it, there was almost nothing new! I actually was kind of annoyed since I paid like 5 or 6 bucks for it. The only real new thing I saw was a spider "egg-sack" how-to which was kind of cool. Kind of cool, but not worth 6 bucks. I'm hoping her (free) tv Halloween episodes will have something I haven't seen before. Anyway...just my 2 cents!

You can get them pretty much anywhere that sells her regular magazine. If you've never bought it before then this is the issue for you, since it has a lot of her projects from over the last several years. I already subscribe to her regular mag. so I kind of got screwed on this issue.

Her Halloween special (TV Show) was pretty much the same thing, nothing new just past years mashed together.

My wife was very upset about it - in years past the Halloween issue was the October issue, part of the subscription. This year it was considered a "special" issue, and you had to pay extra for it. She basically said "Screw Martha!"

ChrisW: I hate the fact I had to pay extra too! I mean, the regular subscription is expensive enough.
Halloweenking: It's not all cutesy stuff (I don't really go for that either). She does do some amazing mood/set decorating..classic haunted house. I like it for inspiration. Like I said, the egg sack thing was kind of awesome...very realistic looking. I have done her rat/mice silhouettes (sp) on my stairs and they looked really cool. Also, her vintage looking creepy candy labels were pretty nice (I think you can download those for free on her website)._____________________
