I have A space in my back yard that is 22ft x 32ft. I was told a should put part of my haunt in this space. I thought I would build a maze in this area using orange consteruction fencing, and pvc. I would light It with strobe lights and have loude metal music playing. My problem is my design calls for hallways
that are 2ft wide. Is that to small? Has anyone ever built a maze in their haunt? If so how did it turn out? How do you keep people from getting confused and trying to exit the way they came in? I will up load the planes a drew if you want to see them.
Build it and they will come.

I would like to see the plans. 2 ft. may be a LITTLE to small. Maybe 3 ft would do.

In my humble opinion, 2 1/2 feet would be okay for short squeeze-through, but hallways should be a minimum of 3 feet.

I made the space a little bigger, but my original design is going to be to big with 3ft halls.
I guess I will have to redesign using 3 ft halls. My problem is that I have no idea how to design a maze. My last plan came from the internet. I was wondering if there was a spefic way to design a maze. I alsio have to have the entrence and exit side by side. If you now how to design a maze please help.

We did a corn maze in my driveway last year for the first time and it was fantastic! Our walkways were 3 - 3 1/2 feet wide. We have several wheelchairs that come through during the night so we build to accomodate them.

If you have access to hay bales and corn, you can make great maze walls with very little effort. We stack our bales so they are on edge, 2 bales high, with the string running parallel with the ground. We then thread the cornstalks through the 4 strings of baling twine. I ties the walls together and we have never had any of them tip.

Our maze was 17' x 40' and we used 120 bales and loads of cornstalks. The dimensions for a bale are about 18" x 36" x 24". It's like using building blocks to build your walls. Easy to lay out too.

    Here a pic:

I'm starting to think that 21ft x 33ft is not going to be big enough. I wonder if I am wasting my time with this addition.
