Thread: Finally found The Pillager!

I've been trying to find Spooky Town's "The Pillager" locally since July and I finally got it today! I saw it at Garden Ridge the day they started putting out their Halloween stuff but didn't get it because I had to consult with my husband first. I went back to get it two days later and they were sold out! I've been going back every week or so to check on it and today is the first time they've had it back in stock.
Luckily, they are running their "Buy One Get One 1/2 Off" sale on Lemax items so I got the ship and Dead Man's Point for only $80! Hooray!

The Pillager and Dead Mans Point go well together.

Here's just a suggestion:

I have a set of the purple spotlights aimed at the ship but they do nothing to enhance Dead Mans Point. The color is too dark for the piece.

Someone suggested using the white spotlights however the light is too harsh and doesnt mesh with Spooky Town atmosphere.

I took a set of blue spotlights that I use for the Christmas village and have them shining on Dead Mans Point. It really works, the blue color brings out the depth of the piece and still looks good with the Halloween theme.

Ohhhhhhh....nice idea ironmaiden! Now if I only had a display like the one scavengerhaunt made!
