My character is the Grim Reaper, each year ive used my body actions + my hands to do the talking; as well as low whispers etc. Ive been given the OK to use a metal (dulled) Scythe...So my question is this..

Should I or should I not use a Scythe?

    Which would you find scarier
    - using my hands and body/low whispers
    - using a scythe and body/low whispers

    I can't decide..

Is this at a pro haunt or your home? And what do you do with your hands when not using the scythe?

It is a community service haunted house/pro

As for my hands I use gauntlets which are called "Lion's Gauntlets" you can buy them at spirit. I take my fingers which have long finger nails on them (rubber) and run it down peoples cheeks or tap their shoulders sometimes.

With a scythe I wouldn't be exactly sure what to do at first, it would have to come to me. However, it would seem more fitting you know Grim Reaper you think black cloak scythe skull face...what do you think?

Go real... Nothing scares the kids like feeling that cold steel. A kid came up to me and said (that thing isn't real). I held it out for him to touch. He took two steps back and said ( that thing is real!). I hope he was wearing a diaper!

Oh but do be careful. But if someone does get hurt just work it into the haunt. The cops will never know the difference. Believe me...... Muhahah!

Here in Texas its not hard. Well.... to find one anyway. In Canton they have what they call first Monday trade days. They use to carry them by the hundreds. Thats where I got mine. And its a BIG one. LOL

My friend went tot'ing as the reaper. A lady would not even come to the door when she saw him. LOL She looked at her husband and said ( I'm not going to answer that door). Her husband laughed and gave use some candy. It probably was not that he was dressed as the grim reaper. But maybe because his was dressed as a 25 year old grim reaper.
