Hello Hideous!!!!
I been collecting Spooky Town since last halloween. I discovered an online dealer through another forum that was selling the remainder of her store inventory for 1/2 price and she was only a few states away so the shipping wasnt ridiculous.
Then a few weeks ago I found a listing on craigslist from a woman selling all of her Spooky Town AND Christmas village items, she was not far from my mom's house. She sold me all of her Spooky Town for $75!!! And this was the really nice and hard-to-find older buildings like the House Of Wax and Castle on Spooky Hill.
For another $125.00 I got boxes of Christmas village stuff including a train. My car was so full i couldnt see out the rear window!! I was just fortunate that day, usually that kind of luck is for someone else.
Course now Im gonna have to find a place to store all this stuff.......New Hampshire: America's Original Haunted Attraction

STORE??????
You mean you won't keep Halloween up all year round???
WOW with deals like that how could you help not collect??? I have some of the Dept 56 stuff along with Spookytown mixed in....wish the scale on both was the same, but not really even consistent in Dept 56. Redoing my attic loft, but once I get things set up again I'll give you a peek.
Your display is inspiring! No honestly, it's not just a nickname....I'm truly Hideous.

No prob Jack
have you tried calling Lemax directly? From what I have read on other forums they are pretty good about providing replacement parts.
They are in Canton, Mass.

Or if you still have the instruction sheet that came in the box it should tell you the exact voltage and other electrical info like amps (well you know what I mean) and use one of those universal adapters that you can adjust the settings. However I find them cumbersome to use.
Try calling lemax, you have nothing to lose.New Hampshire: America's Original Haunted Attraction

Thankyou very much for your kind words.
Actually I ended up with so much Spooky Town after finding that seller on Craigslist that I had to remove the Harvest section of my village and will have to set that up along with the carnival sometime after Christmas. I have one 5' table in front of the wood stove and will be needing to fire that up in the coming month I'm sure. No complaints right now though, its 80 degrees here.New Hampshire: America's Original Haunted Attraction
