Thread: Anyone decorating yet?

I'm trying to fight the urge to get out all my indoor decor stuff and get started. The only thing that keeps me from jumping right into it is that first I have to pack up and put away all my non-seasonal things to make room.
Maybe the spooky town stuff will come out this week...

Anybody else?

LOL I actually put my indoor decor up start of September, I just plain can't wait any longer. I figure 2 months is deserved for the best holiday of the year, right?
This includes plastic JOL's and sting lights in the window-I'm sure the neighbors will see this and the pressure to get out their stuff will be too great and I can see their halloween decorations that much sooner

I have been biting the bullet since Labor Day.Maybe first of next week.

I finally started digging boxes out today and I have a stack of stuff I just ordered sitting here on the dining room table. Today we cut all the tombstones & finally started the cemetery pillars.

My Hubby is having an operation 150 miles from home on Oct.4th so we will probably be up there at least a week so I gotta get a move on! I would have started already but this little slippin & slidin accident in the shower 2 weeks ago still has me black & blue & purple!!(perfect halloween colors!!) all over and darn sore STILL! Thank God I have someone else who can crawl up and down this ladder!

So Yup I'm hitting it hard starting tomorrow!!

I started working at Spirit Halloween a few days ago, and now Im in the spirit to unload the boxes out of my grage and basement, lol

btw guys, if you want to save money buyin from Spirits, buy it in SEPTEMBER, EVERYTHING is on clerance!

I just couldn't wait any longer. Had help dragging the boxes down from the garage....got rid of some stuff...to make room for new stuff....

started to put some things up around the house, nothing outside as of yet but I saw some others around town had!!

I was very upset I wasn't the first!! Was in target today, going back tomorrow saw some stuff that was in the dollar spot I want..errr..NEED to pick up

Iv started.

I started with indoor stuff a week ago. I still have alot to do.

I have my fall scarecrows out already of which I put a mask on later to change their disposition to not so friendly look, I have a few more to put out that are more Octoberish looking that I will do by Sat.,........yep with the local hayrides and amusement parks cranking up now I figure its on........so let the decorating begin......yeehaw !

we installed the cemetery fence and colums yesterday , have put the black flower urns out on the porch , donna the dead and mummy dog are out on the porch too ,i have painted this week maple leaf garlands in black and twisted those yesterday around the porch poles..... since we built the hearse and is in the driveway aleready lol i have taken dapper death prop out and have put him beside him.....today i dont know wet what will come up the basement but i am in full decorating mood since monday
