Hi everyone, I went to a great halloween party last year and they made jello shooters using brain molds. I haven't been able to find any molds locally. Does anyone know where I can purchase a jello brain mold online? Thanks!

In decreasing price, or are you looking for a mini mold to make a brain per shooter?

I'll also check Walmart! We have one near us. I appreciate the feedback!

Ghost Hunter - funny, last year we couldn't find any so we ended up ordering one on-line. This year, we are seeing them everywhere! Cheapest was at a store called Country Junction in Pennsylvania - 3.50 after discount. Saw them in Spirit and other Halloween stores as well, full price of $12.00.

The brain, stomach and heart molds at Walmart were $2 each.

I got a brain mold this year also. A realistic-looking (and feeling) brain is going to be the perfect touch in our door-greeter's candy bowl. I've found some recipes online, but does anyone have a favorite that they would like to share? We probably won't be eating it, just letting the kids poke at it.

We did the shrimp mold, as a "Moldy Brain" It was actually delicious, but it went largely uneaten becuase of the gross factor! Oh well, more for us...

I had to search for mine and paid just under $10 for it last year, they are everywhere for next to nothing this year.
BTW we made a pumpkin cheesecake mix, added a single packet of unflavored gelatin (to make it hold the shape) and used the brain mold for that. I ran a little grenadine over it to bring out the ridges. We called it "Bits O' Brains." At first noone would eat it, but after a couple of brave sould tried it, it was long gone--way before the "Death by Chocolate."
