HELP! My brain hurts real bad coza this song!
By the way- Sorry if I'm in the wrong place. Please let me know where else I might get some help with this if you can't help me identify this song. Thanks.
I heard this song a long time ago a couple of times and I want.. no! I HAVE to hear it again. The problem is that I don't know who sings it or how old it is, or even the title. But I think it's really cool!
OK, so what I DO know about it is taht it has some kind of choir singing "Ohhhh... ohwee ohwee Ohhhh" in the background and some crazy voodoo-sounding drums. Other than that, there's no real music to speak of. And then the words are delivered by a guy who's shouting like a baptist preacher. I'm pretty sure the singer is white, judging by his voice, if that helps.
I heard it at a local haunted house both of the nights I went, so I know it has to be some rare track from some kind of band that likes our holiday... When I tried to talk to the people running the haunted house, they just assumed I was there to tell them they'd done a great job along side the other people who were gushing and kind of rushed me out. Never even got to ask.
The one part of the words that I can remember, and that keeps plyaing over and over in my head (and JUST WON'T STOP!) are this:
"burning blood is slipping from your face, and you've just been killed, and you just still can't get your fill..." and something about "the heat's been playing tricks on you, and you don't know what the hell to do..."
I just can't go on until I find out the name of this song! HELP!!

Good luck. Sorry it doesn't ring a bell with me. Type O Negative maybe? Those lyrics seem to be along their style.

I don't know either, but let us know if you figure it out. You have my curiosity peaked.

Could it be a local band? I'm not finding anything on the web, and I'm usually pretty good at searching lyrics. The closest I can find is by Warpath.
Is that haunt still around so you could go back & ask someone again?"Well I guess they were wrong then, weren't they?" I-gor

Sounds like that song "jungle love" to me. Not sure who sings it though.

Might be by "The Time"

Jungle Love by Morris Day & The Time DOES have an Oh-ee-oh background once in a while, but it also has a lot of musical instruments playing, and I don't remember any lyrics like the ones BB listed. If it was Jungle Love, it may have been a cover.
Beezleboobies, go to a sample site (like Yahoo Music) & listen to Jungle Love. Does any of that sound familiar?"Well I guess they were wrong then, weren't they?" I-gor

Hmm, well that was my best guess from an "80's" kid, lol.

Squirrel Nut Zippers' "Hell" is what first came to mind, but I listened and that has distinct music and less shouting than I remembered.
Maybe one of the songs Korn recorded as The Vampire Lestat for Queen of the Damned?

Those aren't it... But thanks for trying. –

Wow, Y'all! Thanks for giving it the old college try but no banana quite yet. I should point out that it really doesn't sound like a song so much as it does a Voodoo ceremony... Heavy drums and weird kind of animal sounds... chirping in the background. DRAT!! I wish I knew what it was called!!
I think it has something to do (from what I remember) with having a nightmare.
Oh and by the way Halloweiner, you and I make quite the pair! Ha ha! Look out! Here come Weiner and Boobies! (was that inappropriate?)
