I think they call them Cinderella pumpkins? Maybe try a search with "fake cinderella pumpkin carving" or something similar.

Wow a 50 dollar pumpkin! I might buy one of those when I win the lottery. No, wait, no matter how much money I won I could never bring myself to spend 50 dollars on a faux pumpkin. There is a special level of Hell for people who spend 50 dollars on a fake pumpkin. So no 50 dollar pumpkin for me. Unless the pumpkin had some additional feature... Then maybe. I'm thinking along the lines of something wondrously magical. Yeah, I guess I would buy a 50 dollar pumpkin if it granted Everlasting Life or something similar. Or like if every time you reached inside it you got a handful of dark chocolate M&Ms. Yeah, then I'm in.

Maybe you could drill a small hole in the bottom to verify what its made out of first. I'll to go to Michael's tomorrow and look at those.

My wife who works as event coordinator at her Michael's says that this particular pumkin is not for carving, but she said you can cut a hole in the top to make flower arrangements, turn into a candy holder, or put dry ice in it!

I'v neve seen a $50.00 dollar pumpkin. I have some of those smaller fake ones. I carved them to make faces. Works well in my opion if you use a fake pumpkin.

octoberist, i think you need to cool it on the sarcasm. you are starting to get offensive. that's quite an insult to say there is a special place in hell reserved for someone to spend $50 on a faux pumpkin. you seriously need to think before you type.

yeah, yeah, yeah, but with the coupon it was about 1/2 off and the really nice mail order funkins are in the 20 dollar range and its huge , i buy very few props or decorations and i'll have it a while so i figured why not , i only mentioned the price because i knew it would clarify the exact one i meant for any michaels frequent flyer...
