I was wondering where all of you set up your haunt? I for one always set up in my garage but, I'm running out of room. I may have to expand outside the garage and set up some kind of walls/enclosure. Not sure how to accomplish that yet. Anyway...just curious.

For the first time this year, I am doing it in my garage. I usually do it in the front yard.

Last yr we purchased the old house thats next door to our house with the intentions of remodeling it to rent or sell. It will have to be completely gutted, new walls, floors etc. However my husband hasnt started working on it yet so Im using it for my haunt. I know when he starts the remodel I'll have to move my haunt elsewhere but Im taking advantage of it while I can

I have use of a Quanta domed metal machine shed (w/ double doors front & back).
Located outside of town, on a grain farm. We have the use of it for 2 months out of the year. It's 37x82 with a peak height of 25 ft. A small 10x12 workshop doubles as our control room. Since the building is metal & domed, sound travels fantastic through out!!

    Vonroll-
You can make some cheap walls with hardboard (pegboard's cousin) & framed with 2x2x8 furring strips. Since hardboard is much more flexible than osb plywood, would suggust adding a "+" to the center for more support. Exterior paint will help protect the wall panels from the elements. You can make the panels either single sided or double sided.

37x82!!!!!! Holy Crap! Some of you guys are living the haunter's fantasy. NewbieHaunter has a house next door! And Haunty has a building!!! Awesome. I wouldn't know what to do with all that room... actually I would. Thanks for the pointers on the walls for outside. I keep going out to the drive way to picture how I'd add on to the front of the garage. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and do it.

This year, ours starts in front of the house with a 57' long x 18' tall pirate ship facade through which you access a 7-room HH in the 3-car garage which continues into the entire downstairs of the house which will be converted into a massive pirates' cave. Plus, a small fenced-in cemetery in the front yard, a "tent" for the psychic in the guest room upstairs, and various decorations in the backyard (including a pirate chillin in the pool).
"Well I guess they were wrong then, weren't they?" I-gor
